Human Resources

Upholding our people-centric principle, Walrus Pump regards its 486 employees as both family and our most valuable asset. As of the end of 2024, approximately 91.56% were based at our main operational sites in Taiwan, with the remaining 8.44% stationed overseas, including in China. Our workforce is 61% male and 39% female. In addition to full-time staff, we employ 26 non-staff workers, including external consultants, security personnel, cleaning staff, and renovation specialists. Since 2019, we have actively promoted our core values of Bright, Collective Good, and Diligent—both externally through branding campaigns and internally within our corporate community. This top-down, inside-out approach has cultivated a positive work environment, with over half of our employees remaining with us for more than three years. In 2024, we employed seven individuals with disabilities (four men and three women) at our Sanzhi Headquarters and Kaohsiung Branch Office, working in roles ranging from production and quality assurance to administration. We strive to create a work environment where every individual, including those with disabilities, can contribute and grow.

 

 

In preparation for our initial public offering (IPO) and future listing, we are modernizing organizational management and streamlining corporate structures. In 2024, we successfully recruited 178 new employees, representing a recruitment rate of 40%. Over the same period, 127 employees departed (including retirements), resulting in a turnover rate of 28.54%.

 

 

Minimum Notice Periods Regarding Operational Changes

In 2024, there were no major operational changes affecting employees' rights at Walrus Pump. Should such changes occur, the Company will determine the notice period and supporting measures in accordance with the Labor Standards Act and internal policies. We will also continue to engage employees through various communication channels and work collaboratively to identify the best solutions.
