Diversified Benefit Systems

Walrus Pump's Employee Benefits Committee held eight regular meetings in 2024, working closely with management to design and implement a range of employee benefits, including insurance programs, care initiatives, and festival bonuses. These efforts aim to provide strong support for our employees, enabling them to pursue their goals confidently and achieve personal and professional growth. Each year, the 1111 Job Bank—a leading Taiwanese recruitment platform—evaluates companies on salary, benefits, and workplace friendliness. Walrus Pump has passed rigorous reviews, including preliminary assessments, online voting, and anonymous feedback, earning recognition as one of the "1111 Happy Enterprises" in 2022, 2023, and 2024. This honor reflects our ongoing commitment to employee well-being. Remuneration System

To ensure fairness, Walrus Pump engages external consultants—independent of the Company and its management—to review and approve compensation for all positions, from the Chairman and President to general staff. This process helps maintain a fair, equitable, and competitive compensation structure. Compensation is determined according to the job grade table and includes basic salary, meal and supervisor allowances, and professional skill allowances. Walrus Pump treats all employees equally, with no difference in pay based on gender or nationality. Salaries are set based on academic and professional background, work skills, development potential, job difficulty, and level of responsibility. Employees in special positions may receive additional allowances—for example, maintenance field workers receive a cold drink allowance (to cope with hot outdoor conditions), while forklift operators receive a license allowance. Yearend bonuses and employee dividends are shared among all employees, with distribution based on the Company's annual operating results and performance evaluations. Retirement needs are secured by contributing 6% of each employee's salary to their individual pension accounts under Taiwan's Bureau of Labor Insurance, alongside the provision of employee stock options in accordance with regulations. Compensation packages are reviewed and adjusted regularly based on actual conditions. In addition to ensuring internal pay equity and external market competitiveness for both new hires and existing employees, we aim to align employee compensation with the Company's business performance and prevailing living standards. Following the 2024 salary review, the starting salary was set at NT$30,000. Salaries were determined based on job grade and rank, with salary adjustments made for 212 employees, reflecting an average increase of 5.8%.
