Diversified Welfare System
Walrus Pump has an Employee Welfare Committee, which successfully organized 12 regular meetings in 2023. The Committee worked closely with the Company to plan and implement a range of employee welfare actions, including insurance planning, employee care initiatives, and festival bonus payments. With a total expenditure of approximately NT$6.468 million, these measures aim to provide robust support to our employees, helping them pursue their goals with confidence and fostering significant personal and professional growth. Each year, the 1111 Job Bank, a renowned job-seeking and recruitment platform in Taiwan, evaluates businesses on salary, benefits, and workplace friendliness to assess their overall employee care. Walrus Pump passed comprehensive evaluations, including preliminary reviews, online voting, and anonymous feedback, earning the distinction of being named one of the “1111 Happy Enterprises”in both 2022 and 2023. These honors reflect our commitment to employee well-being. Moving forward, we plan to continue providing exceptional benefits and care through market surveys and internal communications.
Remuneration System
Walrus Pump is committed to ensuring equal treatment of all employees, with no discrimination in remuneration based on gender or nationality. To maintain fairness, we employ external consultants, independent of the Company and its management, to review and approve the salaries of all employees - ranging from the chairman and general managers to general staff. This process establishes a fair, equitable, and competitive compensation structure. Remuneration is determined according to the job grade table and includes a basic salary, meal and supervisor compensations, and expertise allowances. Year-end bonuses are based on the Company’s operational status and annual performance evaluations. To secure retirement benefits, 6% of each employee’s salary is contributed to their personal labor retirement pension account with the Bureau of Labor Insurance. Remuneration conditions are regularly adjusted based on the Company’s operational status and employee living standards. Following a 2022 calibration, the starting salary was set at NT$28,000, with subsequent adjustments based on job levels and ranks. Mid-level and senior supervisors receive salary increases ranging from 3% to 5%, while general employees receive a raise of approximately 3%.
